I hate being smart enough to know I’m not that smart but not dumb enough to be confidently stupid.

Mini short story review: Fondly Fahrenheit by Alfred Bester. A delicious twist on Asimov's first law of robotics. All reet all reet! Wonder if this story influenced George RR martin famous scene between Khal Drogo and Viserys. #scifi #shortstory #alfredbester #Georgerrmartin #sciencefiction #sf

I truly believe NO ONE IS SAFE! is my strongest collection to date. Some stories in here have been optioned for film and I personally feel stories like "The Wish", "My Father's Ashes", "Aquarium Diver", "Autumn Sugar" and "Row" are some of my best of the last decade.

Mini short story review: Southern Lights by Tanith Lee. From Old Moon Quarterly's @oldmoonquarterly.bsky.social recommended reading list. Saw the end coming, but Lee added one last unexpected detail that made it memorable. Look forward to reading Jaisel's other tale: Northern Chess. #Tanithlee

Mini short story review: The Charnal God by Clark Ashton Smith. L. Sprague de Camp's quip "Nobody since Poe has so loved a well-rotted corpse." Is on full display here as the title suggests. A weird retelling of the Orpheus and Eurydice myth. #weirdfiction #shortstories #clarkashtonsmith
