I often think "What would it be like to live in a Solarpunk society?" and then I get glimpses of it. I finally nipped round to the nearest large library to check out their free to use 3D printer. I will definitely be using this service. A lot. I have ideas for things we need around the house.

Yesterday Mrs Swamptin got this lovely photo of me and baby Swamptin enjoying our #bikes in the cold. Yes, I get that my wellies won't provide peak power output, but I don't mind. #BikeTooter

Mrs Swamptin has knocked it out of the park for this years birthday. She got me a lovely Leatherman Signal in an aqua blue with black coating on the blades etc. It's fantastic looking and will be very much loved and used.

So I may have slightly over did them. 5 delicious pieces of chicken and one where I'm wondering why I want to have more. 😅

So I went to Nando's a couple of weeks ago and got their wing roulette. I was disappointed so I decided to make my own. Since I made that decision Mrs Swamptin got me Da Bomb Beyond insanity. So it's definitely gonna have a hot one somewhere!

Behind the sauces is a dish for marinating the chicken.

Today I learned Irish libraries give kids under 4 years old two free books to keep. In related news, we finally visited our local library. Looks like a fantastic facility. Can't wait to make better use of it.

Imma tell you now, Goldilocks is in for a surprise if she comes around here!!!

For a start I can't offer her overnight oats, but I'll happily whip her up some porridge.

So it transpires my dad archetype is "hot sauce" dad. Friends are marathon dad, historian dad, crossfit dad, I have become the dad who has the large collection of hot sauces and bbq glazes. I'm only starting out on this journey, but so far we're doing very well for an Irish house, IMHO.
On a table are 14 different hot sauces and bbq glazes. These range from a custom one on the far left through staples like Frank's Hot sauce, and includes a number of small batch hot sauces from the Dublin hot sauce company Scarlet For Yer Ma.
