Eddie! A young boy from the undercity who found a reflection in his bedroom the night after a GEIST raid on opia (mirroring canon). His reflection manifested as a toy boat the size of a car that hides complex mechanical parts, and he powers it with his Limitless Imagination!

Like, this is what the transformation sequence from episode 1 looked like in the manga; the expression on the two fantasy world characters and the scope of the explosion are a huge part of selling the comedy of the scene that was lost in the anime adaptation.

Platonic Progress :)

coming back sometime later to post new art of two of our Augmented NPCs! The Augmented are based on canon's Valentine and are refraction's version of the satyr\char people. Rather than being fused with a past self these people have been augmented with demonic machinery that turns them into monsters!

actually posting some of my own "art" for once, I did this for Refraction! Traced a tengu mask I found online and added the big teeth, and the ear feather is blown up from an artist friend's version of this character, rest was on me. Its not great, but I did my best!

Dr. Mera! She's the head doctor at OPIA, and a phoenix-hybrid woman! She's very caring, and also will turn into a big fire woman and punch your fucking lights out if you mess with her and the hospital!
