I actually did an artshow recently. And my main focus was encouraging folks to make postcard comics. I made a free zine on how to do it. And sold blank postcards as well as fully fledged postcard comics. It went really well! Hopefully, this is a small step to better connection. 💖

Ooh, I'll be in Seattle in late March, I'd love to get some ink done while up there! I have a sketch ready, so lemme know. :>

You have gorgeous hair! Haha, I remember finding my first white hair when I was 21 and feeling shocked at the sight of it. I just leave mine be, I have more Grey and white around my temples now. And they don't really bother me anymore. I say let them be! Greying hair is nothing to feel ashamed of.

Granted, if there are no pictures of it or the pictures were clearly stolen from a different site, I'm more suspicious and typically won't bite. A lot of detective work goes into getting nice books at a fair price. But I have seen some ridiculous pricing here and there. But not that D:

It's something I'd been running from for a long time out of rejection and shame. But even if there are some that will never accept me, I should still try to better understand for myself and the people that care about me. ; u ; haha let's be sappy, at least we are being frank.

Hahaha agreed XD

Yeah, I had to figure out through trial and error what I could do. I started out by drawing a simple design in pencil and then imprinting on the rubber material until a copy lifted off the paper. Then carefully carved where I wanted the negative space to be. Very tedious lol

I refuse to wear either. Jeans, slacks, or skirts. Those are my go-tos

Haha it was a lot of trial and error, apparently carving on erasers is a cheaper alternative to getting the rubber made for stamps. I see a lot of them at thrift stores that other peeps made.

I've also read a couple of chapters from Invisible Man, by Ralph Ellison. And it's hard to fully conceptualize the gravity of this novel. But this is my first read through. It's going to be a long and hard trek to really appreciate the lived experiences of the Black Community. I have a lot to do.
