I think there's a place for them - where cycling or bus usage is low or there is not room to fit a full boarder. This bus stop has fewer than 20 passengers a day. There would be no point in installing a full boarder.

There is of course this classic from his stint at london travel watch.

At least more obvious now. Presumably a lot more behind the scenes when he was at hackney council and London travel watch.

Any links to pretty pictures where it shows? Fortunately all of my children are now past childcare age so can stop playing that game.

Indeed.

I've started to notice more tricycle users over the past few years.

I suppose at least people suitably related can put in their comments on the consultation.

Maybe?

Which traffic engineers changed?

FYI the queensbridge cycle lane is pencilled in to stop at every bus stop.
November 4, 2025 at 1:10 PM
Technically can't have cycle lanes on the road if people cross them?
October 17, 2025 at 11:18 AM
My points elsewhere were: -
1) odd that they hold cycle lanes to a higher standard than roads.
2) it's contradictory, it says to refer to IAN 195/16 for cycle route design. FBS designs are of course detailed in that document.
3) standards are not quasi-regulation.

Think we can all agree that train ticket pricing in the uk is messed up and symptomatic of wider train and transport issues here.

So your point wasn't that cpi should exclude things that less then half the population use as that's kind of how it came across?
If your suggestion is that inflation figures shouldn't include things that are environmentally damaging then that doesn't really make sense either.

TFL spend £750MM/year on direct bus subsidies. As a thought experiment could alternatively buy 750,000 e-bikes a year and distribute them to those who could use. 12 years to buy a bike for everyone in London.
August 20, 2025 at 10:12 AM
Cheap buses in London already cost £750MM in direct subsidies.

Less than 50% of the population use sanitary towels, yet.....

One year less than for cutting down a tree then.

You may want to think about the actual stone type you want to use as they are regional (the style as well).

Even in outer london - there is one I know of within the north circular that has fewer than 9/people boarding per day.

I'm glad you got some evidence in. I saw another report that claimed that buses were very safe and I suspected that it didn't cover a lot of things or London specific interactions.

Oh, she kept asking questions of me despite having blocked me. Weird.
