Gave our broody hens a couple of tiny eggs to sit on (not expecting them to hatch). So I was v v surprised to this little one today! Infortunately the other hens started attacking her + sibling so into the imcubator and now doing so well!

Beautiful walk today by the river! Ladybirds, Magpie moth, wild thyme, early meadowsweet and a grasshopper... magical!

This is what my damson tree is looking like.. is it birds or mites? Also any ideas re treating canker on apple trees? All a bit worrying!
