The Orange At lunchtime I bought a huge orange — The size of it made us all laugh. I peeled it and shared it with Robert and Dave— They got quarters and I had a half. And that orange, it made me so happy, As ordinary things often do Just lately. The shopping. A walk in the park. This is peace and contentment. It's new. The rest of the day was quite easy. Pink pickled onions are a regular in this house. The one thing, which the very first recipe I tried was definitely the best #🧅 👌🏻 #pickles
A picture of a tall thin jar which looks pink/magenta with pink picked onions inside it. Made with distilled vinegar, lime juice, coriander seeds and various peppercorns. The pickling process makes the vinegar an intense magenta and the finely sliced onions a delicate pink.

Guys I just had a near death experience (mentally anyway) l was nodding off watching True Crime (I know, could I be more of a stereotype 🤷🏼‍♀️). When a can of beer on the shelf exploded of its own volition, to the extent the shrapnel pierced other beers. My life flashed before my eyes 💩
A can of beer ripped open at the top where the seam is and distorted with the beer still inside it. Can of beer pierced in the side by the exploded can and frothing out
