Tyvärr sant för nästan alla ”global”-fonder…

Same. When asked about something I almost always have an opinion. But if no one is asking it kinda feels like everything has already been said and I have little or nothing to add 🤔

I’m an impact focused product engineer/designer/full-stack dev with 15+ years of experience.

I help teams and entrepreneurs turn their ideas into prototypes, and then into fully fledged products.

Might still have some availability this fall.

Tror du fått en del av detta om bakfoten. All kod är öppen och finns här: github.com/bluesky-social

Nätverket i sig själv är det som är värdefullt och som skapar mer värde ju större det blir. Inte koden.

bluesky-social has 25 repositories available. Follow their code on GitHub.

As far as I know this isn’t possible short of using ”…spread” routes and bolting on some other router for the ”plugin apps” or building something custom with hooks.

Would love to see it tho!

Delar din upplevelse! Har blivit snudd på antikapitalist av att jag drev bolag i nästan 10 år.

Älskar entreprenörskapet (även om jag inte är stormförtjust i just det ordet) och avskyr rovkapitalisterna.

I rather take the train whenever that's an option, even though it's often significantly more expensive than flying. Flying is just an awful experience from end to end while modern trains are super comfortable.

I’m working on a (soon to be released) catalog of climate finance resources and sources of funding. It’s pretty EU centric so far, so this list might come in handy in going beyond that

Would a Matrix instance be accessible from the open web and indexable by search engines? My understanding is that Matrix is essentially ”open source Slack for orgs with strict compliance requirements”.

If you’re on a Mac and connecting to Postgres then Postico is pretty nice!

Having something that would be indexable on the open web with the UX and community feel of e.g. Discord would be the dream!

Right now it feels like you can get either or, but not both.

Yes please!

I have come across pluralistic.net in the past. Haven’t read that book tho. Do we manage to go solar punk and save the earth or is it all doom and gloom?

I’d also like to see better docs around more complex rune use cases, e.g:
- passing reactive values by reference (when and how to use closures, and when not to)
- destructuring values (without breaking reactivity)
- authoring reusable libraries with runes

This in turn suggests that the companies/orgs/etc that lead the way in this not only make a seemingly sound investment given what we know today, but they will also be even further ahead as CO2 emissions and other externalities eventually become priced correctly.

Interesting read! There are already many climate positive and financially sound investment opportunities (renewables being cheaper that fossil energy, etc) meaning that in several areas it is (or soon will be) cheaper to transition than to be left behind.
