svgnet.ca, don't let your autocorrect misguide you to signet, that's not my name, it's SVGNET, and it's in capitals unless you're typing it in a URL

"ignore my PFP I'll fix it later" -me, before writing svdb as a database placeholder and deploying it...
I'm making something very cool.

Sadly lime.mov is gone, but I'll make up for it, don't worry!

So, I was bored, I scrolled the entire Apple developer tools list, I found 458 Kernel debug kits and one Kerner debug kit.

Depending on your definition, I wasn't lying when I said "coming soon", I *did* deploy something, it just took a few months and it's very little. It's also broken, so I've got that to work on now.

YouTube channel. youtube.com/@svgnet-ca?s... Probably not going to do much with it but if enough people subscribe they might let me post stuff there.
SVGNET
SVGNET YouTube channel, may post updates, may just comment, but I'm kind of tired of using my personal YT channel

Uninstalled YouTube - it's basically malware at this point, less efficient at playing background music than Minecraft, which says something because the latter is programmed in Java.

SVGNET is fine now, I'll stop posting when it goes down since it's apparently so often
November 24, 2024 at 11:34 PM
even my Bluesky account is having issues at this point
November 24, 2024 at 10:48 PM
IT'S BROKEN!

for now, use:

https://
svgnet
.ca
:25565

I would include the whole URL, but it includes parts most people see as redundant ( https:// ) but are actually required for some reason, you can't just type svgnet .ca :25565 into your browser, you need the protocol. I'm trying to fix it.

the update broke stuff, I fixed stuff, everything is fine now, back to programming
November 24, 2024 at 6:44 PM
Not during an update!

New users joining the site, glad it's working! Not glad I can't post my original message, but I can post a screenshot of it! (word limit) sorry to everyone getting 400s, I'm trying to figure out why the HTTP and HTTPS servers aren't cooperating right...

I generally don't emulate my games, I mainly have the emulator to play my legit games after ripping them for higher quality (which is legal as I obtained the games through actual hardware), but I pulled out the emulator to grab this footage: SVGNET now works on Nintendo 3DS!

Well, it wasn't as easy as I had hoped, but we got there in the end, I am now the proud owner of svgnet.ca and you can go there in your browser... now to make it do something.

Consider what I've posted, consider this:
November 18, 2024 at 6:45 PM
Due to threats of malware, I've told Bluesky to not show my account to signed out users. I've been here for less than a week and some JERK is already trying to ruin my life.

they're failing, but they're evil and I want them gone.
November 18, 2024 at 6:39 PM
Thanks for the malware everyone, NOT RUNNING IT!

ChatGPT says it's connected to a DNS address associated with a botnet attacking IoT devices (eg your TV) so I'm shutting SVGNET down until I fix that.

again, CUT IT OUT WITH THE HACKING, IT'S MAKING A MESS OF THE LOGS!

November 18, 2024 at 2:59 PM
:D

the image is a little misleading, it's actually svgnet.ca:5000 (and yes, you do seem to need the *whole thing*, including https:// and :5000, I'll work on fixing that)
November 18, 2024 at 2:48 PM
I got TLS... kind of...

svgnet.ca won't work, but svgnet.ca:5000 will. This isn't because the server is on 5000, some firewall or something is blocking port 443 (the default) and I still have to figure out what.
November 18, 2024 at 2:44 PM
Funny Bluesky scroll bar bug in the meantime
November 18, 2024 at 2:25 PM
SVGNET has been in its placeholder state for not even a week and someone is already trying to hack it.

159.223.86.53, cut it out please, you're cluttering up my logs and I'm trying to debug TLS.
November 18, 2024 at 2:22 PM
svgnet.ca is finally mine! I just need to add encryption so it's *https*://svgnet.ca

I realized I was approaching the character limit and decided to stop at the end of that sentence, turns out that sentence was exactly the remaining characters. Alt text can be thousands of characters long, maybe I can just post a picture and tell people to read the alt text if I need more characters
November 17, 2024 at 9:46 PM
Bluesky is great, the hitboxes are a little confusing, sometimes a lot confusing, but I figured it out.

Unlike YouTube, where I still can't figure out how to access someones channel page while they're live streaming without first viewing the live stream and going to their channel page from there...
November 17, 2024 at 9:42 PM
If anyone refers to 𝕏, please use this character instead of "X" since I don't want it mixed up with the letter X. I don't like that platform, don't bring down the reputation of this letter with it
