Remote remote remote
My latest experimentation in Svelte & SvelteKit was to revisit the i18n problem space, this time with remote function. Hoping this can add to the conversation...

All eyes on a stable release of async and remote function. And maybe i18n out of the box soon🤞

Campaign for capybara to be the Svelte mascot, anyone?
I'm sure many do too haha, when I talk to people in the Svelte Vietnam community this topic surfaces very often.

I want an elephant just so we can say "let's address the elephant in the room". Already postgres though. An owl is kinda "svelte", but that's duolingo.

Capybara is a great candidate!

Can't avoid modals forever no matter how hard I try. Luckily, HTMLDialogElement + Svelte semantics make my life much easier.

Here's an async dialog/modal I use a lot these days:

Using #svelte `createSubscriber` again to abstract a reactive, centralized layer for web storage. Let me know what you think. Would you use something like this?

I don't quite like $effect that much so this has been fun.

Put together a little pattern to make wxt.dev storage reactive in #svelte land. Pretty helpful alternative to passing data around scripts via messages.
