story is a nice enough tale of the power of bonds (as a concept and literally, of course) and human nature, with some cosmic forces for good measure. Still an above average kind of game but the soundtrack will stick for a bit.

The combat is functional (there is an attempt at depth but the difficulty is far too easy for it to matter), the music is very nice (unless it’s a battle theme) and there’s far too many characters that don’t get enough time for development. The enemy designs are abstract, bordering on edgy

It may seem weird but the last two entries have gotten to the point where you obtain a new car every few minutes. It’s a power fantasy but it also devalues the experience of saving up and investing in a car that you want. I have several hundred million credits with nothing left to spend it on lol
