The tariffs were supposed to raise government revenue to replace the revenue lost from making the 2017 tax cuts permanent. So will Congress pause making the tax cuts permanent or will Congress drive the US budget off a cliff?

MAGA is not a measurable goal. Is the goal of the tariffs to increase government revenue or "bring jobs back to the US"? How much or how many? By what date? Success or failure can't be determined if success is not defined.

Elimination of the FDIC is extremely unlikely. It is not a government agency and is not funded by tax dollars. While banks may want to eliminate the premiums they pay in, eliminating the insurance protection would result in a mass exodus of deposits to more secure pastures.

My once per semester reminder that grades are just a piece of information. There are many ways to be successful. High grades indicate that the student has demonstrated knowledge of the material in a course. That's it.
