It is very unfortunate. I'm sorry for those kids, and the adults they will be.
there's a lot going on right now that has and will impact so many families, young children, etc.

What drives ME crazy about the anti-DEI rhetoric is that within it is embedded white christian nationalist ideologies - any woman or person of color who holds any positions must be a "DEI hire," and therefore is incompetent and must be replaced.
It's not a misunderstanding - it's intentional.

My brother has said similar to me. I work hard to be sure he knows I’m here when he needs me, without being in his face or stifling. We may have found a good balance after decades of …. Ick.

I honestly don’t know how to stop my dog from pooping.
I do know how to (a) take her for walks to avoid poop accidents (absent illness), and (b) to clean up after her (absent extreme illness that may require cleaning products that I don’t tend to carry with me).
