Im disgusted as yesterday I helped a resident where I work try and contact the DWP and was given the run around. We were hung up on, told not my dept, you choose wrong options etc it took 3 hours !! How are the elderly supposed to navigate this BS It’s ridiculous

What the hell should Ukraine ‘make a deal’ with Russia. They got invaded why do they have to agree to give up their land !! They need to be involved in ANY peace agreement that involves their country and if he can’t see that then Trump has no right to be at that table too.

This over the top outrage over grooming gangs and enquirers is really annoying me. Where was your outrage when this was brought to light years ago. Why do you not call for heads when the Tories did not implement the recommendations. But now you do. I despair at this hypocrisy

It’s a new year and I can’t be bothered to make a resolution except that I will live each day like it’s a new start and an opportunity for growth and happiness. Why wait for new year for a new start.

I think this year will be the last Christmas that my kids will be full of wonder. We have a some big surprises for them, which will bring me a bit of joy if nothing else.

Is it just me or do any of you think that Christmas is over commercialized and too much effort for very little reward. I really do not like Christmas, roll on 2025 and back to normality.

I want a divorce so badly but can’t afford it, so stuck in a marriage with a financially controlling husband, with no way out as I need the little he gives me to survive. 2025 has to change this for me as I can’t go on like this.
