She is a grand old lady of 13years, 9months. She still loves her soft toys (new ones likely to suffer damage within a few days), and treats - though dietary concerns limit these. She is still allowed Tu Meke veal ribs and VitaPet chicken tenders.

Took Rose for her monthly injection, and stopped for coffee afterwards. This beautiful beast was parked outside the shops. All original. Got to talk to the owner as well.

Capturing these images while I can. Most times now Rose (13y 8mo) stands looking at the sofa for several minutes as if either trying to decide she can make the jump, or psyching herself up to do it.
I really like sharing with her, and will miss her so much when she decides she can’t make it.

Technically hippeastrums, not amaryllises. I only learned the difference 2 years ago at 65. 🤣
