Minor aside: the number of MRI machines in hospitals in France might not include those in hospital-associated private clinics and specialised imaging centres, some of which may be covered by state funding.

Same in the UK. Labour govts produce fewer and lower deficits than Tories and better response to economic pressure for majority of population.
Sadly the media are owned by the rich, who benefit most under the right-whingers.

Trump is going to blame Biden. Usually this would be a reasonable response as there is a 12-18 month delay of response to economic boosts or constraints.
However big cuts in employment, investment and purchasing power can hit faster, especially when anticipated since November.
