I’m so so sorry. Utterly heartbreaking.

This photo is on display at the Topography of Terror exhibition in Berlin. I seem to recall reading that a woman behind him reported him for refusing to salute.

They can start at 3am and crow every 10 mins or so for hours. I suffered this once - the sleep deprivation was torture. Nothing ‘beautiful about it’. It’s wild to me that some think they can adversely affect others to this extent.
