Hey new friends! I'm a writer with multiple chronic illnesses. My doctors keep telling me to reduce my stress since I'm kind of a mess right now. So if we could just get the folks in Washington to settle down and stop breaking things, that would be awesome.

It helps to remember that we're all living in a world of selective media with bots feeding us what we want to see. None of us are getting a clear picture of reality, especially those on the right.
When someone expresses genuine regret voting for Trump, the best thing we can do is welcome them into the fold. We're not gonna get anywhere with ridiculous gatekeeping and pettiness. Let's offer folks an off-ramp into the coalition of reasonable adults.
