Unplugged and went on a hike yesterday to celebrate turning 50. Photos are from the trail.
The most impactful pic is the Union soldiers’ graveyard that got moved due to vandalism. The stone stairs and monument are all that’s left, along with a road to the drowned town.

I played Ode to Joy on the guitar tonight. My fingertips are sore and a lil numb, but playing this crazy cheap piece of wood and wires has helped me achieve much-needed stillness and focus in the chaos life has become. Will it last? No clue. Staying in the now.

Today’s lunch, chosen by the Spawn: Mango chicken stir fry lettuce wraps.
I used Quorn chik’n and I like it better than chicken breasts. It cooked up great, soaked up all the flavors, and the house smells amazing. 😁
