I’ve gone to an auto show before and quietly shared with my spouse visible panel gaps that would have never left my plant, but manhandling the cars like that?

I mean Dr Doom of course

They are all vocations predominantly chosen by women…

Toyota at least is focused on range improvements; not heard anything about charging time improvements

To be fair, Rand Paul is really a Libertarian masquerading as a republican. He claims it makes it easier for him to work with both sides.

Love it! I have a Fordite pendant, but now I need to look for a matching brooch.
November 7, 2025 at 4:25 PM
This kind of strategy is why we keep getting fighter pilot lady in KY.
November 7, 2025 at 4:00 PM
Mostly it was that republican voters abstained from voting for Bevin or Cameron, which allowed democratic votes for Beshear to prevail.
November 7, 2025 at 3:43 PM
To be fair, the current one remarried her.

He thinks he’s funny. He’s trying to endear himself before the primary before the governor’s race.
November 7, 2025 at 3:37 PM
The guy from the tweet is not the governor; he’s the Secretary of State. He’s in charge of elections; the governor is not. He’s also making a joke…
November 7, 2025 at 1:28 AM
I think as you point out there is a lot of nuance here that indicates that KY is an oddball exception rather a shining beacon of hope. Could there be lessons learned? Maybe - but it’s likely not just Beshear as a candidate alone.
November 6, 2025 at 10:30 PM
Yes. People could not even hold their nose and vote for Bevin - he was that toxic. Before Bevin, I was a registered Republican but he was repulsive enough to get me to change my party affiliation after almost 20 years.

Headline reads like a bot wrote it. No real journalism involved.
November 6, 2025 at 4:27 PM
KY Dems will absolutely compartmentalise these results and run the Lady Fighter Pilot carpetbagger rather than the black guy who has previously held office.
November 6, 2025 at 4:23 PM
Beshear was the incumbent and a known name as his father was previously governor. Unfortunately the republican candidate was a black man, and a certain demographic just could not vote for him.
November 6, 2025 at 4:19 PM
Maybe not technically idiots - just Karens / Kevins who got excited to snitch on their local precinct.
