We had Sunday school without a piano or hymn books. Moving had happened and things were confusing. But we soldered on.

Re job interview: In the late 60s I worked at an engineering company that did contract work with the gov. Their ideal candidate was a black engineer. They were hard to find at that time.

I always encouraged my kids to rewrite their notes. It helps to organize the information and find if you have a question. Easier to do it now than the night before finals.

If he had fired it, that would’ve been punishment enough. I am the inheritor of my grandfather’s hand made hog leg and I fired it 65 years ago and still remember the kick.

Learn something every day. I had to check that & was surprised to find this is true. I’ve lived around Cajuns my entire life and never heard this.

Is it permissible to tell the student if he wants to be sure his paper is received by you, he’d better place a hard copy in your hands? Because otherwise, bad things can happen.
