It is a failed process, the outright rejection of good information couched in bad framing. We’ve acquiesced on some of our most effective ways of dealing with challenges because we don’t like the way someone else brought it up, or the words they used to describe it. Friends, we have to grow up.

At one point, Kavanaugh got so frustrated at Gorsuch (for posing a *mildly* difficult question to the contractor) that he tried to jump in and cut him off. Gorsuch wouldn't stand down, telling Kavanaugh: "You’re gonna have your shot, my friend." You can tell several other justices are also annoyed.
