Top notch episode. Loved the discussion on media crit, Jesus (who fucks), and the gang getting hyped up about how "Reboot" is GOOD, actually!

It doesnt read as cynical at all to me, rather informed by experience and a well informed view of our shared material conditions.

That group of people is ultimately very small, however, compared to the scale of what we are talking about in standing in solidarity with BDS. The strenght of collective action is immense, and while individual growth and ideas arent meritless at all, they pale in comparison.

In these comments specifically, I see a difference in perspective regarding the importance of the individual vs collective. The podcast is important to many individuals, and I won't belittle the impact it has on many people.

I feel it's important to balance these comments out by telling you, your stance on this spurred me to look up the current BDS boycott targets and I canceled memberships on Disney plus and Xbox Game Pass because of it, and I signed up for the BDS newsletter. Making noise works.

If you are interested in doing a miniatures/wargaming focus sometime, @peachytips.bsky.social is possibly THE perfect human being (in general) and a joy to hear from. UK based, can bants with doogs about small kiddos, and has an eagle-eye, beginner friendly view of wargaming. (Not just warhammer)

He even wrote an official canon short story about Dengar and IG-88B (two of the bounty hunters in Empire Strikes Back) once!

I'm not sure if you've worked with Austin Walker before, Jesse, but considering the amount of brilliant work he's done in the space of Star Wars and TTRPG's, I think y'all could have a ton of fun. All the Star Wars deep cuts you have which might fly over Dodgers head will land with Austin.
