Elizabeth Cotten's guitar is in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. When I saw it hanging up, I literally gasped.
Elizabeth Cotten's old Martin acoustic guitar is hanging up on a museum display with clothes, pictures, and other music paraphernalia. Since she played it left-handed, it should be hanging the other way, but you can't win 'em all.

The only thing that kept Johnny Cash from guesting with Frank Zappa on stage in 1988 was that June wasn't feeling good.

He's most likely holding a cigarette as well. Frank taught his band to play Ring of Fire in the hopes that Johnny would be a guest at his concert. Johnny couldn't make it because June was sick, but Frank still played the song three times. "Ring of fire" was the secret word for that show.

This is a shot from today's NASCAR race at Kansas. Zane Smith's green car is sliding against the wall on its side. It slid like this for most of turn 4, then slid to the inside of the track and barrel rolled twice before it landed on its wheels. Zane is OK.

They named Clint's character Buck Martinez as a reference to them shooting in Toronto.
Here's a 1986 Fleer card of then-Blue Jays catcher Buck Martinez. He's wearing a blue jersey and white hat, both with the Blue Jays logo on them. He's got dark hair and a mustache. Buck has spent a large portion of his career in Toronto. He managed the team for a few years after his playing days, and is now one of their broadcasters.

This was taken at the Peppermint Lounge. Jimi and the Ronettes were members of Joey Dee and the Starliters ("Peppermint Twist") at the time. Other famous members of that band at various points were the Young Rascals and Joe Pesci. Yes, *that* Joe Pesci.
