If you ever want your cake mix to be extra special, substitute the oil for butter (room temp) and use milk instead of water. That's what most bakeries do because you're essentially buying pre measured ingredients.

You guys have an incredible amount of patience. I don't know how you do it. I feel like I would get discouraged because there's always going to be something wrong and people are going to pick you apart at everything.

Discovery was always WW2 stuff. Learning Channel...I remember watching surgeries on there during dinner time (my father was a physician). I miss all that, not reality television programming.
