A walk up fare on the day normally only averages circa 40-50€. Maybe the dynamic pricing algorithm thing had a brain fart. Those are feckin Avanti prices!

Indeed. I know three who've used it. Combined with other public feedback, thats the general opinion.
If there's a 'sale' in off season I might be tempted Brussels-Dresden. If a horror ride at least only 15 min tram from Hbf to home. Not in other direction if relying on E/Star connection.
