Wildfire smoke at unhealthy levels has now spread over New York State. The fires are much worse now and in 2023, than they were decades ago, due to stronger, longer heat waves and more persistent drought that is exacerbated by Climate Change!

Invasive weed control today along the 434 Greenway, Binghamton, NY. Led by Kris Gilbert, we took out some barberry. Julian Shepherd is showing some Oriental Bittersweet. There's more to do for the Greenway, another invasive pull planned for the late summer.

Congratulations and thank you for all the great work of Binghamton Move Out Project, to collect unwanted items left behind by local college students, sort them, and donate them to local charities so that they are kept out of the landfill, and so that needy individuals can make good use of them!
