#GovKathyHochul needs to follow NY State's own climate law, the CLCPA and direct her State's officials and agencies to follow section 7 of the CLCPA and prioritize climate in decision-making.

New York needs to deny permits for any new gas pipelines and instead rapidly build renewable energy.

Wildfire smoke at unhealthy levels has now spread over New York State. The fires are much worse now and in 2023, than they were decades ago, due to stronger, longer heat waves and more persistent drought that is exacerbated by Climate Change!

Invasive weed control today along the 434 Greenway, Binghamton, NY. Led by Kris Gilbert, we took out some barberry. Julian Shepherd is showing some Oriental Bittersweet. There's more to do for the Greenway, another invasive pull planned for the late summer.

The Chernobyl accident is a stark example of why we should NOT be pursuing new nuclear power in NY State as a way to obtain electricity. Nuclear power too expensive, too toxic, too risky, and too slow to build.

I estimate over 100 caring people rallied in support of Medicaid in Binghamton today! The keynote was Lt. Governor Antonio Delgado, who gave us a barn burner of a speech, from the heart, with passion and conviction along with the power of love, to urge us on.
