For me, you need to find a good neutral color and put it over the part of your drawing you want to color. Overlay layer mode is what I use on csp the most. I recommend using multiple layers to simplify the process, otherwise you have to carefully color stuff and worry about edges.

It's very fun because I have changed species a few times/made alt sonas and I had people compliment me that my characters all have the same vibes because I give them all the same kind of thick visor like glasses

I think I should make a more conscious effort in looking up to the art I have looked at and thought "I find this inspiring"

I have gone to try and draw Teseo again after a few years, and I gotta say, now that I have distanced him from being my sona, he feels more true as a representation of myself as character, because it's easier to focus on what he's meant to represent—near total apathy that shields from breaking down
