found this old photo of my friend's Silvia front-end swapped 240sx next to my Mazdaspeed Protege in 2005

i had thought about these cars this way for some time as well. had some friends with S13s that taught me the nuances. if you ever see a Silvia front end on a hatch, it's nicknamed a Sil80. and if it's the other way around, it's a Onevia!

yes, they were not referred to as Silvias. Silvias are the coupes with fixed headlight and normal trunk. 180SXs were just 180SXs with CA18

Are you renting a “cool” car? Just a heads up, check with rental company if they allow video recording while driving. I rented an ae86 from fun2drive and they prohibited video except on Fuji Speedway due to potential liability with police
