Why do people accept all kinds of bad sh*t from white guys and then work to excuse it away ("He was young! He apologized!")? If a woman or a person of color said any of the things Platner has, or had a tattoo like his, they would be dismissed and ostracized. Go away, Platner. Do better, Maine!

Appreciate you fighting and don't give in! STOP VOTING for ANY of Trump's nominees! You voted to confirm Mooty who seems to be a Trump loyalist. Meanwhile Speaker Johnson refuses to swear in Adelita Grijalva from our own state. The time for supporting ANY part of Trump's regime has long passed.

es! It reinforces the blatant disregard for women once again. Women are the ones who have to “tough it out” if we get a fever while pregnant. (Fevers can be very dangerous for mom and baby!) Trump throws out crappy unscientific opinions so blame is on mom if something goes wrong. It is maddening!

I agree. It's really quite embarrassing for this Administration to fail to get stuff done. BUT what are YOU going to do about it? If they are not following the law, surely there is something to be done?

This! Exactly! And add in 1) how many even inow a person who is trans? 2) How many have been impacted by DEI other than maybe seeing preferred pronouns on an email signature?

All of this mess is NOT the fault of liberal elites. Yes, many small towns across the US were hurt by global economy, etc... But why do African Americans, many of whom feel the same economic pain, vote for Democrats? Enough with these articles explaining why WHITES vote the way they do.
