We were in Ecuador in February, currency is US dollar. They don’t use $1 bills, instead dollar coins. Learned Americans don’t like or use the dollar coin. So Ecuador buys them from the Treasury at a discount.
Small but still a win. Most of the coins with his face are likely to end up there.
