I was startled today to realise he’s being held up as a model and even a martyr among some Christians here in the UK. How did people come to align ourselves so strongly on issues that drive tribalism and cause so much more heat than light? Whatever happened to loving your neighbour?

But really, is an NHS settlement anyone’s business? It’s journalists digging through the bins stuff isn’t it? How horrible that she’s had to share that detail.
