Halo is surprisingly complex under the hood though. Its controls, enemy AI, environmental storytelling, and music were all incredible for the time, and it had great multiplayer on top of all that. Sure, other shooters had this too, but Halo did all this in an accessible package as a launch title.

Kirk was a violence advocate. One that’d rather have dead Americans than gun control, the same gun control that would’ve spared his life.
