The village I'm from was the birthplace of Alexander Fleming. This is quite a progressive tribute for them. Though there is a rose garden in the shape of bacteria.

Fluffy - still falling asleep in the most awkward places. Right in front of the cooker, fridge and cupboard. Might be trying the passive bribery route.

There is murmured in retention meetings "Those that play together, Stay together" A number of doctors play D&D, wonder if they would be up for social deduction games. Or maybe LibCon.

How do you take care of your wellbeing and build personal resilience? I have a glass of wine and watching Andor. with plans for tidying and geting the bike out tomorrow. I also have 'watch fish tanks over read news' policy. 5dd0e006-3ffd-496b-a2e6-fbd8d698481a.filesusr.com/ugd/92c4bd_2...

For the next one I am getting super glue, a craft knife and reading the instructions through first. Also need a cat free zone.

Garlic doing nicely. Lost the gate to herbs and fruit. Winter lettuce didn't make it, but over winter brassicas still look strong.

Heat - the F1 version of Flamme Rouge. Similar style, but card hand management changes make it slightly more strategy with a little push your luck. Multiple boards and cards in box to give good replay options. Like the quality of the board, but the player mats are a bit flimsy.

Beez a game where you move according to the numbers on the base. Fly from flower to flower to collect nectar and store in the hive in patterns to score honey points. Surprisingly strategic.

Cold day out this morning and whilst the kind of weather I enjoy, there is a cold warning out for health. So wrap up cozy and find a warm space.

After returning from the snowy and frozen north. Now settling in for the reflective, thankful period we think of as 2nd Xmas, where we get to actually open and appreciate our gifts.

Mid-week game of Study in Emerald (first edition). A hidden identity deck builder game based on Neil Gaiman's short Lovercraftian story. Can you work out who are loyalists and who are revolutionists in the fight to control cities, assassinate or save the Old Ones and stay sane.

Have some Christmas cheer from last night's Paul McCartney gig. Pleased Helter Skelter made the set list, but over compensating by singing Mull of Kintyre lots, because it didn't.
