I did it every 10 rows. It's definitely helped me count and make things seem more manageable as this is my first larger project.

Thanks! I am still a novice too and I did the grid myself. It took forever but it does help me check my work. Some people mark their aida with pencil or get aidas with a washable pre printed grid.
