Chandra Laborde just found this on opensfhistory.org. LBJ ‘64 campaign motorcade passes site of Compton’s Cafeteria on right; above it was Hyland Hotel, a Tenderoin “queen’s hotel” catering to trans women, so…on the fire escape…🤷🏻♀️
