It’s quickly become apparent to me that Bluesky is about statements - either one’s own or lots of reposting someone else’s. Most users identify via handles vs real names, adding to the disconnect of anonymity. This is all fine. It’s also a choice. Bluesky is not the Canada of Facebook.

This strikes a huge chord with me. My before and after is also disconnecting with someone who was a good person and never meant any harm. But, it was important for me to create a boundary. I had to stop playing second chair to my life. Thank you for posting this response. I feel less like a villain.
