Idiocracy was supposed to be satirical. Public school teacher, fiber artist, gardener, film/tv enthusiast, upcycler, & hobby farmer doing the work of being anti-racist & vertical despite fascism taking over the country.

😊During the lockdown, my partner, & cook in our home, had total knee replacement surgery. At 47 they said he had the knee of an 80 year old. So, I had to learn to cook in order to feed us, & getting to ignite the brandy sauce was LIFE changing for me! When I don’t have pears I use persimmons/apples.

That is wonderful!
I’m getting around to decorating finally & as inspiration I’m re-reading (for the millionth time) your old Dec blog posts. Currently starting in ‘10. Thank you for this gift. Soon I’ll be making your chicken, cranberry, pear recipe. It was the recipe that got me into cooking!

Fantastic! I’ll come find you! I ran through the vendor halls today as everyone was setting up. It’s overwhelming but amazing! I hope you have a fantastic show.

I love this. Your colorway reminds me both of my beloved rooster Jareth the Goblin King, may he rest in chicken peace) and his iridescent black/purple/green feathers and also a Miyazaki film palette like Howl or Arrietty. Lovely!

When I feel overwhelmed by the world, I take solace in supporting local, small businesses instead of the corporations actively working against all I hold dear.
Supporting our booth @Lambtown means you are supporting local women actively working to improve our world through these skills. 4/4

Then I blended this wool with locally grown chocolate brown alpaca that Shari also had previously washed for me.

So a lot of money & days of my time & effort resulted in 9 of these 2 oz batts of super soft locally grown and prepared fiber.
