The battered wife comment has wide, wide demographic appeal. It captures Hillary supporters ("Tammy Wynette...") all the way through til now. Very wise and savvy. She knows what the Epstein files are, and she's stepping out for a bit. I wonder if this is self-realization or if she has handlers.

She is off to rehabilitate herself. She will come back after the cult of DJT is done. She may have seen enough, even for her, with Charlie Kirk and Epstein. And the tanking of the economy is affecting her kids, and of course, with skyrocketing healthcare premiums.

She is stepping out to rehabilitate herself for after Trump is gone. She has a political future, and is preserving it. The battered wife line will resonate in a way that Hillary's defense of Bill in 1991 did not. We've not heard that from a female pol in a long time. A few decades I guess matter!
