Next Friday I have a privilege to be a part of Kirsi’s continued journey with her choral conducting career. It’s also a rare opportunity to sing descant voice choral music with some pretty accomplished and talented musicians.

Easter has begun with a wonderful program of Easter polyphony with my best friends at Vokaaliyhtye Uoma. We dipped into some rarely heard pieces such as Palestrina’s Missa Regina coeli at the new Tikkurila Church in Vantaa.

So incredibly grateful for this once in a lifetime opportunity to be part of something this momentous.

It was a huge privilege and an undertaking to sing three B minors in one weekend. But it taught me so much: how to sustain, persevere, give room, adapt to sudden changes, and trust the process. 💕

Now heading home for a few hours without a note to sing, and then it’s time for some lovely renaissance!

Tonight we put on the finishing touches in Turku with The Finnish Baroque Orchestra and Key Ensemble, along with a beautiful team of dancers.

My ear worms are ready for an all-nighter. 😃
