CBS (and TNT) still hold the option to it, so I think it has not been released for sale because they may revisit it in the future. That said, I know there must be dubs of it out there because I get messages from folks who've seen it recently, probably dug up somewhere on the web. :)

Hi! And thanks so much for the note. 'Scent of the Missing' was produced by CBS Studios and TNT as a pilot for a series. Though the pilot was made (and, I think, aired at some point as a longer-version TV movie), it never went to series. I don't think it's available for purchase anywhere.

In a way, bsky puts all of us in the memoirist's challenge--how much of ourselves to we really want to throw out to strangers? It's less a closed circle of friends and more like an open mic at a party where you only know a few people. But I like the considered posts of those I follow! (Like you.)

I'm still on Facebook (contractually, I have to be for a period of time), but I post much less there, and TBH here, as well, though my intention is to be more here than anywhere. The energy is just too fraught to want to be online as much, and I've traded the headspace for other things. -more-
