I have a similar memory. And I remember thinking "this is stupid. If they are THAT happy about a wall coming down, why did they put ut there in the first place?" In my defence, I was 6 years old and thought the iron curtain probably was an actual curtain somewhere.

I bought mine to see if I can make my 2nd coffee plant survive a winter. The first one didn't. (Cost of both plants still less than the uv-light 😀 )

Or you can buy an uv-lamp that costs more than the plants in the vague hope that it will keep them alive.
