Bought a Sunday print edition of the @houstonchronicle.com while in Houston for a layover. Can’t resist a good Sunday paper when I see one! This was $5 and it’s a nice big bundle. My kiddo was thrilled there’s a comics section! 🗞️ #supportlocalnews

My local library gives away these free “protect yourself from fake news” bookmarks to anyone who wants ’em. Great tips on here.

Does it have any odd suffixes or substitutions? Check the author’s credentials. Skip anonymous news reports. Make sure the headline and/or picture matches the content. Beware online ‘filter bubbles’ that show you only items that are similar to items you have liked. Be open-minded. Ask questions.”

Anyone having issue getting their data from X? Trying to close my X account this week. Requested my data and got an email from X that it’s ready, but when I logged in it says downloading data is “temporarily unavailable.” 🤔
