Canaries react (negatively) to low oxygen situations much more quickly. This alerts the miners giving them a better chance of getting out alive. Now they have more sophisticated detectors!

Not when they invade your attic, that weatherproof winter hideout. Twenty-six years in the forest = a constant battle. If they can’t find a crack, they eat their way in!
