I live in St. Cloud, Minnesota, and there was a massive raid at one of our local businesses. The police were blocking the streets and helping.

And these were our friends and neighbors at our protest Sunday afternoon! Heading out hot chai tea on a cold afternoon and hot Samosa, which is incredibly delicious!

ICE visited a home of someone who partake in protests in our small central Minnesota city. Not immigrants. Not brown skinned people. They visited because they didn’t like what they had said on social media about their lovely organization. They told them they would be arrested if it continued.

“I’m sorry if I said anything to offend you, but I’m not really” pretty sure that’s what he said? That’s awesome.

The UN, the WHO, The International Rehabilitation Council for Torture Victims (IRCT), among others determined quite a while ago that conversion therapy is torture.

I’m thinking about him today. I hope he’d be proud of me. I hope my sense of citizenship has lived up to his.
