I have before used the example of my great grandmother who refused to move from gas to electric, and how outdated and unsafe the idea would be today of having gas lamps in your home.

No. It's been fine all evening, then as soon as I channel hop up to ITV or C4 I get that again. Last night it was on 1 and 2 as well. I did a factory reset on my set top box last night (Humax) to try to remove its feeble network attempts altogether but that hasn't helped. 🤷🏻♀️

Do ofcom take any notice of complaints from people who write because of a campaign, and didn't actually watch whatever it was broadcast? Used to be that they did not carry much if any weight.

At least you get the message. I have a stupid set top box which claims to connect to the internet for streaming, but can stream less than a dripping tap and is now covering C4 with this, which I cannot get rid of but I assume is related.

9,000 a day. But in 2021 it was 1,300 and the year ended with life saving surgery so I'm also pleased. Will try to up my game for the second half of the year!

As someone who used to work for an organisation which placed great importance on the dot in the logo, surely it has a better name than the dot! Ours was "the device". I'm saying nonjudgmentally. 😁

I don't know about current state school cricket, but when I was there girls weren't offered the chance at all, instead of cricket and football we had netball and hockey. (Also a 🦕!)

Oh dear, he did the court room equivalent of going to school and calling the teacher 'Dad'. Mortifying in the extreme and probably what he calls his wife. Still bloody funny though.

You can never (or so close to never it rounds to zero) use extra discount vouchers with other offers/sale prices so £50. Read the small print before you queue up. 😁
