In 2016, I was unemployed. We didn't have cable, satellite or home internet. We had great video stores (RIP Odd Obsession & North Coast Video), & broadcast TV.
Comet was a new station, they didn't have a big selection, but they had Stargate. Comet TV & Stargate really saved our sanity that year.

I wouldn't necessarily include Vonnegut in that clique. I'm probably older than most here, but I still appreciate and re-read Vonnegut a lot.
I think Vonnegut's humor makes the difference. The older I get, the more satire I understand. I haven't noticed any humor in the others' work at all.

I believe they joined ICE for the sole reason that they are being allowed to physically harm minorities.

At least that scarf will keep you warm. I get disturbed every time I see a picture of Johnny Depp and his crusty collection of scarves. Those things must smell like cigarettes, rancid red wine, vomit and copious amounts of Sauvage by Dior.

We've got a huge Ukrainian population in Chicago. The largest concentration is about 3 blocks away from our Chicago house. A lot families here were able to get children & their family members out of Ukraine. The flood of new people has slowed, but it was great getting such an influx of new people

Are you living in Ukraine or did you have to get out of there. I can't imagine living in a war zone like that. And I live both in Chicago and Detroit!
