I know that he was HUD chief in Clinton’s admin. But an endorsement late in the competitive Democratic primary from B. Clinton appeared odd + inappropriate. He and Hillary have stayed mum since then (although her recent interview was a clue on how she would vote if a nyc resident, which she is not).

Her husband endorsed Cuomo earlier this year late in the primary. Odd, I thought (and some journos thought the same). What she said during a recent interview was condescending to young people. (And I’m not young.) Disappointing.

Great article. I had searched outside the nytimes, which oddly buried its coverage of the 2nd debate. I sent 4 comments on their “takeaways” article, and only 1 was published after I noted the others’ absence. Articles from some reporters on this beat indicate bias. Editors may be involved also.
