If I am reading for pleasure, I read at the same speed as I would read aloud.
I have found that the best way to really listen to an audiobook is with my eyes shut. It helps with concentration.
I don't see the point of 'speeding up' either audio or reading. It's a pleasure - not a chore.

Evening #GardensHour - This sad little thing (in 3" ins pot) is my only houseplant. It grows a new leaf occasionally and one of the others promptly dies! I have had it for many years & have no idea what it is called of where it came from. ☺️
