Catherine's story is a carbon copy of mine. Children are the same age. Same advice or non-advice, same lack of information. Sad to say there are many more like us. Doctors, particularly neurologists, should have done much more.

I've not heard that one yet, I only get so far with philosophy but probably a better term used in our case, as women with epilepsy and the reproductive issues involved.

It all starts with healthy patient group engagement. As victims and campaigners we're up against seasoned PR people from various orgs who influence us, and divide and conquer to get their policy changes they pursue. Generally we are just happy to get some attention.

The cost seems about the same as care costs, possibly less, even including the follow ups. Ah perhaps pharma don't want NHS to help doing the follow up assessments gathering data on side effects might not be "worth it" for them either.

I describe them all as disorders, seizure, autism spectrum, memory. For form filling, disability works better as the intention of the form is to establish that you dont fit into the established system, and they need to make allowances.
